If you’re shooting fashion runway photography, you will need to have a lens that can perform well with fast shutter speeds to freeze models mid-stride and that wide aperture to give you the freedom of using all that light around you to your advantage. The location doesn’t always have to be a non-studio setting, either If you have access to a photo studio, that would be equally as great and makes your job so much easier as you now just have to focus on the poses of your shots and detail.

Visit these areas at that time to get a lot of choices without the busy background. Parks and town squares are great in-between locations that have a decent amount of foot traffic, with enough space to get a clean shot.
