About the Vintage Camera LUTs Collection

Technology evolved way too fast in the last couple of decades, yet still, people have nostalgia about what videography used to look back in the 80s, 90s, and early 2000s. While it’s true we cannot fully emulate the sensor differences between such gear and our current solutions, there’s a distinctive color grading that can be extracted from those days.

Explore this selection of vintage LUTs to facilitate a professional color grading session in software like Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, and more. This collection includes 22 high-quality LUTs in 4 different file formats (.3DL, .CMS, .DAT, .CUBE, and .ICC formats), so they can work with any video or photo editor that accepts 3D LUT files.

LUTs don’t only work with videos; they can also be used with photos. The same great cinematic effects you see in movies can be applied to your photos by importing these files directly into Photoshop.

What Are LUTs?

LUTs are short for LookUp Tables and they are designed to alter the Red, Green, and Blue Channels (RGB) of a video or image. Whether you are using LUTs on a video or a photo, you can greatly improve how your project looks and it will also have you time when color grading. These LUTs are compatible with any program that supports 3D LUTs, such as Final Cut, Adobe Premiere, and even Adobe Photoshop.
